http://depts.washington.edu/dphs/training/The University of Washington School of Dentistry announces a new interdisciplinary postdoctoral training program in Clinical Research Methods.
- a full time, two year program (with a possible third year)
- emphasizes didactic training in clinical epidemiology, biostatistics, and outcomes research applied to dentistry
- includes opportunity to work on clinical research projects through the Regional Clinical Dental Research Center
- designed for academically-oriented dentists with advanced clinical training, or Ph.D.s wishing to reorient towards clinical research
- provides research tools needed for faculty in clinical departments to successfully engage in clinical research
- work toward Masters degree in Epidemiology or Health Services encouraged
- stipend, tuition support available from NIH training grant for U.S. citizens and permanent residents
