Asuman Kıyak, Ph.D., is Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Adjunct Professor of Psychology. She is also director of the University of Washington’s Institute on Aging. Her research interests include geriatric dentistry, cross-cultural health issues, psychological outcomes of orthodontics and orthognathic surgery, and dentist-patient communication.
