Plug-ins
Plug-ins and Helper Applications are external pieces of software that work in conjunction with your web browser to expand its ability to interpret files of many different formats.
Adding a new Plug-in or Helper Application is as simple as downloading the software and running the installer. You will need to exit from your browser after downloading the plug-in so be sure to bookmark this page.
Flash
Flash 8.0 from Adobe (formally Macromedia) must be installed, in order to
play certain animation sequences. There is no cost for the player and is available
for Windows or Macintosh Operating Systems. This software can be downloaded
from www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
View the slides in PDF format. To view or print them, you must have Adobe
Acrobat Reader (version 3.0 or higher) installed on your computer. If you do not have
the reader, you can obtain it free from Adobe Corporation. Click on the icon
below to download the program from their Web site.
QuickTime
QuickTime is software that enables your computer to play video and audio clips from the Internet. QuickTime Player automatically determines your system's connection speed and chooses the highest quality stream for the amount of bandwidth you have available. And if you ever lose a connection while watching streaming video, QuickTime Player automatically reconnects.
