This is my second year in the drumline and I am a Sophomore at the University of Washington. I am from Kentridge High School in Kent, Washington. My declared major at the UW is in bioengineering. I decided to join the drumline because I have played the drums for several years and I thought it would be awesome to play at the UW and to march at the football games. I am also an Eagle Scout and enjoy running and the outdoors.

I'm an interdisciplinary Art Major, a fourth year with one quarter left. I draw too much and sell cartoons at conventions for considerable amounts of money (does that count as a job?). I can always recognize F#. I'm in drumline because music kids tend to be cool and it's a ton of fun.

Matt Peterson
Tenors
Marching Band Drumline, Winter Drumline
My name is Matt Peterson. I am currently a Senior at UW majoring in Geographic Information Systems. It's also my fourth year on the drumline, third playing tenors, and I'm stoked to be the tenor section leader this year!
I grew up in Walla Walla, but attended high school at W.F. West High School in Chehalis, WA. My hobbies include drumset, soccer, guitar, piano, and Chipotle.
I'm in drumline at UW simply because in high school even though our drumline wasn't very good, I loved every second of it, so I figured the UW Drumline would be the same, just a hundred times better, which it most definitely is.
Go Dawgs!

This is an autobiography including my name, my major, my year in school, interesting facts, jobs, why I'm in drumline, and some 'etc etc.' I'll start with my major. I don't know what it is yet, but I can definitely let you know when I find out. I am currently a level 1 freshman so this is also my first year in Husky Band. There are some interesting facts about me which includes but is not limited to: double jointed elbows, I learned how to do a cartwheel last summer, I was also in a Lady Gaga flash mob around the same time, I can fit thirty-one grapes in my mouth, I have an uncle that was in a book called "Honolulu Homicide", I won a cheesecake eating contest once, and my super power of choice would be spontaneous combustion. A job is something i need right now. Why am I on drumline? I wanted to continue being in marching band/drumline after high school. I heard glorious things about Husky Band and I auditioned for the drumline. It is much more super-special-awesome-double-rainbow-mudkiptastic than I expected. Yay. Oh, and here is some 'etc etc.': Born in Seattle, I went to Kennedy High School in Burien, I play cymbals, I am currently going to the UW Tacoma campus, I lost the game, I live in West Seattle, I like seals and spinny-chairs.
