David Reeves has been teaching the UW Drumline since 2001. Throughout his career David has been involved with such notable DCI groups as the Star of Indiana, Santa Clara Vanguard, The Cavaliers and Seattle Cascades Drum Corps. He is currently the percussion arranger for the Troopers Drum Corps, the Center Grove High School Drumline, and many other marching ensembles.
His formal music studies took place at Indiana University and the University of Washington, and he has studied with such notable teachers as Gerald Carlyss, Thom Hannum, jazz legend Mel Brown, Tom Collier, and Seattle Symphony Timpanist Michael Crusoe. His compositions and arrangements, some of which are available through Tapspace Publications, have been performed in the United States, Europe, and Japan. David is an artist and clinician for Innovative Percussion and Pearl Drums. He resides in Seattle, WA with his wife Krista and their two sons Benjamin and Alden.

Nick Molenda is a recent graduate of the University of Washington class of 2007 with a BA/BM in Music Performance (Jazz Studies). During his time at the U, Nick was a member of the UW Drumline all five years from 2002-2006. He also was a member of the Div I DCI Seattle Cascades Drumline during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. After aging out of drum corps in 2006, Nick spent the next summer in 2007 as a battery tech for Div III DCI group Spokane Thunder. Within the past few years, Nick has worked with several local area drumlines at Edmonds, Jackson, Kamiak, Mariner, Bainbridge, and Cascade High Schools. Nick is also currently on the percussion staff as a Tenor Technician for World Class DCI Corps, The Cascades.
Outside of the realm of marching percussion, Nick is active in the local Seattle music scene, playing drumset for several area groups including R&B/Soul singers Tess Henley and Carson Henley, the epic rock opera band Discs of Fury, and classic rock cover-band Seduction. Nick is an artist and clinician for Innovative Percussion. Update: Nick is currently accepting private students looking to study Snare, Tenor, Bass, and Drumset.
