Windows Movie Maker Tutorial
- Export your GIF animation from Photoshop/Imageready as before BUT this time, you can export images only (not images and HTML like in previous tutorials.)
- you MUST name it your UWnetid_Final. For example, if Zack is turning in his final and his UWnetid is zbent the his final animation will be called zbent_final.
- On your windows desktop in any computer IN ODEGAARD, Navigate to: Start --> All programs --> multimedia -->Windows Movie Maker. click
- choose file --> Import into collections. click.
- Navigate to the directory where you saved your animation, select your GIF file(s) and click import
- Drag your file(s) into the timeline window at the bottom of the page. You should be able to view a preview of your animation with the playback window to the right of the screen.
- When you are satisfied with the playback, choose: File --> Save movie file. click
- Click next
- The prompt will ask you to name your file and decide where to save it to. specify that then click next. refer to step 2 for naming.
- the settings window comes next, again, you can just click next
- Finally, select finish
