Assignment 1

Assignment 2

Final project

I have always had an interest in visual arts classes; they made up my entire class schedule for most of my time in high school. I learned the basics of Photoshop and was amazed at how absorbing it could be. For example, as I worked on my final piece it seemed like I had been sitting for maybe an hour but when I finally looked at the clock I came to find that over six hours had passed. This is a concept which we have been discussing in class: the manipulation of motion in regards to time. I attempted to demonstrate this in my final animation. A story of love at first sight and the journey one man undergoes to pursue it. Instead of going the route of drawing stick figures to portray my story I tried to use images from the internet and edit them with Photoshop so that they would work with the story which proved to be a lot more difficult of a task as I had a very limited supply of images that I could use. I like to do things out of the box so hopefully I was able to do something different from what others were able to produce.
