Assignment 1
Assignment 2
Final project
My animation project was created to represent the struggle students have with time. As a student, I know the frantic cramming students go through right before a final. I also know how slow time goes when students are anticipating summer. In this animation, two students have the opportunity to adjust time. After traveling to two different eras the students come to an important conclusion of how to deal with time. Tampering or trying to speed up a moment is not going to help the situation; people must live in the present and not worry about what has happened in the past or what is going to occur in the future.
Creating this animation was a struggle for me, because I had no Photoshop skills. I depended on the help of my T.A, Ryan, who helped me immensely this whole quarter. With his guidance and by learning new skills along the way I created my animation. The tool I used that made the greatest impact on my animation was a tablet. It was difficult to learn at first, but once I learned how to operate it I was able to draw my characters. Another helpful skill that helped generate a smooth creation process was organizing and labeling every single layer into certain groups. Without all these tools and the Photoshop skills we learned throughout the quarter I would not have been able to create the animation I did. I hope you all enjoy!
