Final project
An idea, a vision, I chose “Graveyard Rumble” to be my animation from a very fruit pool of ideas. I knew that I could give it my own twist on the way the story unfolds. I also knew that this animation gave me the opportunity to be funny in a sense that it is totally unrealistic. But I also tried to include as much action as I could to keep the audience watching. This piece could be viewed as a fantasy of every 13 year old boy wanting to be able to be the hero that saves the day. A battle of Joe who represents all that is good and sane. Photoshop cs2 and Image ready both helped me accomplish my goal.
The creation of this animation was even more tedious I thought it was going to be when I proposed my idea. This is shown with some of the action not be completely animated as it should be. I started learned quite quickly after the first couple snags though, and had time to throw in my own little artist’s touch to the animation. I also learned the uses of most of the tools finding that attempting to draw all of my shapes was very difficult. I do however feel that my message got across as I intended to and I am glad that I have achieved my goal.
