occurring back at home. I have often felt that I have not been present for all the cute things that my sister has done as a four year old. And since this week is her birthday I felt it necessary to make a sort of homage to her and my own years as a child. I got the idea while watching my sister cut up one of her color books and pasting it back together to her own liking.

In the animation the four seasons are shown as well as the character taking part in activities that define that season. It is composed of a collection of pictures inserted into an animated background. The colors are light and carefree to convey a childlike innocence. The character consists of my sister’s head placed onto the body of a cartoon body. The transitions between seasons are caused by pictures of my sister’s hands. I hope that my animation will cause the audience to reminisce of their own childhood and how joyful that time was.
