Time Travel is a short animation piece aimed at opening up its audience’s minds to think about time differently. Time in society today has become rigid and controlled, but it is still an abstract concept that can be thoughtfully assessed. The best way to represent complete control over time is through time travel. The time machine in my piece represents Industrialization, which has introduced time as something that should be rigid and regulated. Traveling through time, however, makes time seem very flexible and malleable. Time Travel offers these contradictory perspectives of time and begs several questions such as: Is time a nonentity? What is time? And what is its nature?
