Assignment 1

Assignment 2

Final project

I faced many difficulties when I first arrived in America. The greatest obstacles I encountered were the language barrier. While trying to adapt to my new environment, I struggled when communicating with non-Vietnamese speakers. However, with the support and encouragement from my friends I was motivated to improve my English and overcome this barrier, which was the biggest step in my life to help me pursue my goals in America.

Through my experiences, I realized that friendship is one of the most important things in life. Therefore, I decided to do this theme to emphasize its importance and to show my appreciation to the friends who had helped me along the way. At first, I had a hard time starting my project because of my limited knowledge on the Photoshop software. However, I figured out that I could use PowerPoint to draw the characters and pasted them in the Photoshop. Merging those two software allows me do the project faster. Moreover, I am used to Power Point, so it helps me to draw cuter characters- hope you can see that. It is still a lot of work for only 40-seconds animation.

In summarize, through my animation, I emphasize the importance of friendship. We all not only need to be alive but also need to be happy and I believe that friendship plays a crucial part in everybody’s life no matter if he or she is young or old.
