In compliance with the terms of Exchange Visit awards, visiting students are required to submit a post-visit report outlining activities accomplished and future directions (no more than 2000 words) within 3 months of their return.
The report should include "broader impacts" (see NSF proposal guidelines), as well as a description of the research project. Any publications resulting from the exchange visit should acknowledge the National Science Foundation and this Research Collaboration Network Grant.
Reports are forwarded to the E-BIRD USA network office (John Wingfield, University of Washington Dept. of Biology, Box 351800, Seattle, WA 98195-1800 or via email. Exchange Visit reports are posted to the E-BIRD USA website (for U.S. participants), and to the ESF E-BIRD and NSERC E-Bird Canada sites for European and Canadian reports, respectively.
