So You Got Into Graduate School?

The purpose of this workshop is to provide advice and guidance on how to navigate graduate school as a person of color.  We will look at finding community, creating community, navigating our intersecting indentities within institutions, while building networks.  There will also be a panel of graduate students at this workshop.

Times of Transition: Succession Planning:

Nearing the end of the semester, groups sometimes wonder how to transfer their success from one academic year to the next. In this workshop, we will discuss topics such as making a strong succession plan, keeping institutional memory, and preparing your group’s new leadership for a fresh semester.

Fundraising Tips and Tricks

The Fundraising Workshop provides an in-depth look at how you can improve your organization’s fundraising efforts. You will learn how to develop a compelling and consistent message, and how to deliver it to increase visibility, supporters, and volunteers.

Facilitating Meetings

Find out how to effectively facilitate meetings with your peers! The goal of this workshop is to build student confidence, practice communication skills, and navigate difficult conversations in a meeting setting.

Keep Your RSO Alive During the Summer

The Summertime can be a great time to strengthen your organization for the upcoming year. In this workshop, participants will learn how to create meaningful programs, outreach to new members, prepare RSO officers and have fun in the Summer!
