Welcome Students!

As you become a part of the University of Washington community, we encourage you explore the wealth of resources and exciting opportunities available across our campus. The staff at the Ethnic Cultural Center/Theatre (ECC/T) is dedicated to assuring your success during your time at UW by providing events and programs developed and created with you in mind which will enhance your learning experience and assist in building leadership and organizational skills. Our goal at the ECC/T is to create an environment in which learning occurs all the time, in class and outside.

As you look through our website, I hope you will spend some time reviewing our student organizations listed and pick out one or two in which you wish to be involved. If you find that no student organization is a good match for you, you may choose to start your own organization, in which case we are available to assist you in that effort.

Lastly, as you settle in, you will have many questions and probably even a few struggles. Please do not hesitate to let others know when you need assistance. My door is always open or you can e-mail me at vflores@u.washington.edu. We are happy to have you a part of the Ethnic Cultural Center/Theatre.
