Mission Statement: The Mission of the Filipino American Student Association shall be to foster unity and pride among its members and surrounding community through educational, political, cultural, and social advancement.
More Information: Constitution exceprts- The name of this organization is Filipino American Student Association (FASA) at the University of Washington (effective January 1, 1995.) Formerly known as the Filipino Student Association (FSA) at the University of Washington, est. 1970, which was derived from the Filipino Club, est. 1917.
The main purpose of this organization shall meet the Cultural,
Educational, Social, and Political needs of FASA Members and its
surrounding community.
It shall be the purpose of this organization to encourage discussion
and seminars in order to promote greater awareness of Filipino/Filipino
American history, and cultural heritage for the edification of its
members...
