Here is the timeline of events:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-checked=\"false\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuesday, September 8th &#8211; ECC RSO Affiliation Interest Form goes live at 9:00 AM<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-checked=\"false\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monday, September 28th &#8211; ECC Staff will start reviewing and processing affiliation requests<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-checked=\"false\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monday, November 2nd &#8211; ECC RSO Affiliation Interest Form will close at 9:00 AM. No submissions or requests will be accepted past this date\/time<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-checked=\"false\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Friday, November 6th &#8211; ECC RSO Affiliation Process concludes<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">**Please note that the ECC RSO affiliation process only occurs during the fall quarter. If you do not complete the process during the timeline, you must wait until the next academic year.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"accordion \" id=\"accordion\">\n<div class=\"screen-reader-text\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"card\">\n<div class=\"card-header\" id=\"accordion-header\">\n<h3 class=\"mb-0\"><button class=\"btn btn-link\" type=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-target=\"#collapse\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse\"><span class=\"btn-text\"><span style=\"color: #462e83;\"><strong>Benefits RSOs Receive for Affiliating with the Kelly ECC:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span class=\"arrow-box\"><span class=\"arrow\"><\/span><\/span><\/button><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"collapse\" class=\"collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion\" role=\"region\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leadership development and training programs to enhance the skills of your officers and members<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Advising from the ECC Staff on program and event planning, facilitation, budgeting, and risk management<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Usage of ECC facility for meetings and program\/event space at a discounted rate (including, but does not guarantee, access to the kitchen and the patio area) <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">**Based on space availability<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Free use of the Leadership Lab, which includes supplies such as butcher paper, colored pencils, markers, paint and paint supplies<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Free 2-hour weekly meeting space for your RSO<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eligibility to request funding (up to $1,000) for cultural or educational programs\/events that enrich the experience of students on campus<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"card\">\n<div class=\"card-header\" id=\"accordion-header\">\n<h3 class=\"mb-0\"><button class=\"btn btn-link\" type=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-target=\"#collapse\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse\"><span class=\"btn-text\"><span style=\"color: #4b2e83;\"><strong>Steps to Get Your RSO Affiliated (or Re-Affiliated):<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span class=\"arrow-box\"><span class=\"arrow\"><\/span><\/span><\/button><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"collapse\" class=\"collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion\" role=\"region\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-checked=\"false\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Re\/Register your RSO with the Student Activities Office. Any questions or inquiries regarding this, you can visit their <a href=\"https:\/\/hub.washington.edu\/get-involved\/sao\/rso-registration\/\">RSO Registration<\/a> or email <a href=\"mailto:saoreg@uw.edu\">saoreg@uw.edu<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While in the process of being affiliated with SAO, RSOs may complete the ECC affiliation process at the same time. Please complete the ECC RSO Affiliation Interest form to get started. Your RSO will receive a confirmation email of your submission within 3-5 business days.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Fill out this <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/BqdkyLAzgJ\">Affiliation Form<\/a>! (opens on September 8 @ 9am)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\">Plan ahead! Once you complete as much as you can for affiliation with SAO, you may then start the ECC RSO affiliation process<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does filling out the interest form guarantee affiliation status with the ECC? <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No. Filling and submitting an interest form does NOT guarantee your RSO to be affiliated with the Kelly ECC. Follow the steps above to complete your affiliation process. A confirmation email is sent to all RSOs who complete the affiliation process. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When does affiliation close?\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\">The ECC RSO Affiliation Process for 2026-2027 officially concludes on Friday, November 6th<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When will I hear back about my RSO\u2019s affiliation status?\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\">Starting on Monday, September 28th, RSOs will receive communications regarding the status of the affiliation process once an interest form has been submitted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Can I affiliate winter quarter or spring quarter?\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No, we only accept affiliation requests during autumn registration season.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When does my Kelly ECC Affiliation end or expire?\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the end of the following years fall registration\/affiliation. If we have not received your affiliation form and approved RSO registration from SAO we unfortunately remove affiliation benefits.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Can my ECC affiliation status change during the academic year?<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yes.
