We aim to provide individuals and student organizations with tools and resources about the civic process in the United States.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Civic Engagement focuses on three main components:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Educating<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> about the political process, student rights, and how students can get involved\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Informing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> about the latest issues and news in the political arena\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Connecting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> our community to the political apparatus so that we can help make social change through change in policy and law.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>What is Civic Engagement?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Civic engagement involves \u201cworking to make a difference in the civic life of one\u2019s community and developing the combination of knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make that difference.
