50th Anniversary Kick-Off\/Block Party<\/b><\/h3>\n

\nThe ECC Block Party is an annual tradition to kick-off the new academic year at the Kelly ECC. This student-focused social event is geared towards new and returning students to engage and create community. This year\u2019s event is coupled with the 50th Anniversary Kick-off to highlight our \u201c50th Anniversary\u201d milestone. <\/span>We will be celebrating this milestone all year long through various events.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nWe will honor the legendary individuals and student groups who have tremendously influenced the Kelly ECC landscape as we know it. This event may include presentations by ECC legacy groups and alumni. We will call the names of the Kelly ECC legends who paved the way and memorialize those who have passed on. In celebration of the Kelly ECC 50 year milestone, we will honor the Legacy Groups with Kelly ECC Bicentennial medals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Join us in celebrating and honoring the student leaders among the Kelly ECC community at our Annual Gala Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gala is our community\u2019s annual student leadership awards ceremony. It is a celebration that recognizes and pays tribute to student leaders and student organizations for their achievements and hard work throughout the academic school year, as well as recognizes our graduating seniors. To conclude our 50th anniversary, we will also present our community time capsule for 2071 at the Gala.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Kelly ECC community is invited to share ideas for the 2071 time capsule.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you think represents our center and our community, and captures this historic moment in time?<\/span><\/p>\n

We will collect ideas, and invite our community to vote on the final selection of items for the 2071 time capsule. The time capsule will be presented during the 2022 Gala.<\/span><\/p>\n
