  • Students can work on multiple portfolios at once for different audiences
  • Instructors and advisers invite students to complete portfolios, or the student can start to build a portfolio him/herself
  • In this example, a student has started working on a portfolio for a Drama 101 class that asks him to develop a design concept for a play that he has read. The instructor has provided a framework for the portfolio--The student's creative ideas will fill it in
