ERC Staff Only: Age Friendly Workplace Forum

This invitation-only forum for ERC CE personnel will include discussion of the issues of an aging workforce and will introduce the 'Designing the Age Friendly Workplace' curriculum developed at the NW Center ERC. The forum will focus on discussions around how to move forward and develop a set of recommendations for future work.

Although national statistics clearly indicate that the workforce is aging, your organization may be unprepared for this major demographic shift.  The University of Washington and the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries have collaborated to develop a workshop that helps Washington employers and unions design age friendly workplaces. An authorized trainer will help fit strategies you select into an action plan with measurable performance objectives and a timeline to achieve your goals. As you integrate the action plan into your organization, your workplace will be safer and more productive for workers of all ages.  To learn more, please visit
