Employees involved in hazardous waste operations can receive their annual eight hours of required refresher training by attending any of these courses. Group exercises, lectures, and a case study will provide real-life approaches to hazardous waste site operations.

Faculty
John M. Malool, MS, has hands-on experience in hazardous waste site cleanup and emergency response. He presently serves as National Branch Chief in the Marine Safety and Environmental Protection Department, USCGA. John is a popular teacher in numerous hazardous waste training courses at the Centers for Education and Training of the NIOSH-funded New York-New Jersey Education and  Research Center. John is acclaimed in Washington State, where he has taught hazardous waste courses for over 20 years,  and in 2003, he was honored with a distinguished safety award by the Washington State Department of Agriculture Waste Pesticide Disposal Team.
