FAQs
1. Is this the OSHA Outreach Course that gives me
my wallet-sized card from OSHA?
Yes. This course is the same as the classroom version.
Using internet technology, students can now take the
course 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
2.
How can you offer the course so inexpensively?
The course was developed over a nine-month time frame,
which was expensive to develop. By spreading the cost
among the thousands of students who will use it, we
have been able to "share expenses" with
a greater number of people while retaining the same
high quality that OSHA demands.
3.
Is the quality the same? Who checked the course?
The content of the course is the same that is received
in a classroom. Course content has been verified by
the UW-OTI Advisory Committee, as well as the OSHA
Training Institute in Des Plaines, Illinois. This
course is authorized by OSHA.
4.
Do I have to be a computer genius to use this course?
No, all online classes are designed to be easy to
use, stimulating, fun, and provide a rewarding experience
for the student.
5.
How long will it take to finish the course?
The OSHA 10-hour course is designed to take ten hours
to complete. Some advanced students may finish the
course in less than ten hours and still receive their
cards. The majority of students will finish the course
in about 11 or 12 hours.
The 10 hours it takes to complete does NOT have to
be done all at once, either. Once you have registered
for the course, you have 90 days to complete it. You
can do as many modules at a time as you want, then
stop and come back to the course when it is convenient
for YOU.
The
course is available at http://www.regionxoti.org
for only $129.95 (price is subject to change). This course has been approved for
1.0 CEUs, which may be used toward professional certificate
maintenance.
