& health principles. Emphasis on those areas that are the most
hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.
Upon successful completion
of the course, students will receive certification cards and be
able to locate the correct OSHA standards in 29 CFR 1926, identify
common causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas of
construction, and identify abatement techniques for such hazards. Prerequisite for OSHA 500: Construction Train-the-Trainer Course.
