*Effective April 1, 2009, we will not be able to assign 30-hour Construction cards with the 510 course. Students will receive a 510 completion certificate.

OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as construction safety & health principles. Emphasis on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive certification cards and be able to locate the correct OSHA standards in 29 CFR 1926, identify common causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas of construction, and identify abatement techniques for such hazards. Prerequisite for OSHA 500: Construction Train-the-Trainer Course.
