Pacific NorthWest OSHA Education Center


The Pacific NW OSHA Education Center in Seattle offers high quality, standards-based training for both the private sector and federal agencies.

Since it was established in Sept. 1995 by the U.S. Department of Labor,
OSHA'
s Federal Office of Training and Education, the Pacifc Northwest OSHA Education Center has been the only authorized OSHA training facility in Region X. Trainers for each course have been authorized by OSHA, and come from a broad background in conducting high-quality, effective training programs.

Attending these continuing education courses will help you:

  • Obtain a Safety and Health Specialist Certificate
  • Improve the professional skills vital to success in your field
  • Stay informed of new developments in occupational health and safety
  • Network with ofther safety and health professionals
  • Reduce workplace hazards
  • Understand the standards, rules, and regulations under the OSH Act of 1970
  • Examine workplace conditions to verify compliance with federal and state regulations

The Pacific NW OSHA Education Center is affiliated with PacPro Safety & Health Services and HVAC and Metals Institute in Portland, Oregon; EnergX in Richland, WA; Idaho AGC in Boise, and the University of Alaska Anchorage. These organizations assist us in the delivery of OSHA courses throughout Region X.
