& 30-hour General Industry Outreach Course
OSHA-authorized outreach training courses for general
industry. Covers basic safety and health principles
and standards as relevant to general industry. Excellent
beginner courses.
Spirometry Training for Worker Screening
Basic anatomy and physiology relevant to spirometry,
demonstration of NIOSH-approved spirometry technique,
medical surveillance and record keeping.
Forklift Safety
This course is designed to assist the student in becoming
an authorized forklift operator. After successfully
completing this training and demonstrating hands-on
skills, the student will be considered an authorized
powered-industrial truck operator.
Lockout/Tagout
Learn why, when, and how you must comply with lockout/tagout
requirements. This course provides instruction in
awareness, lockout/tagout devices, standard lockout/tagout
procedures, special lockout/tagout procedures, and
annual inspections.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Training on what PPE is necessary, when it is necessary,
how to properly don, doff, adjust, and wear PPE, the
limitations of PPE, and the proper care, maintenance,
useful life and disposal.
Safety and Health Duties for Supervisors
Recognize basic safety and health hazards in the workplace;
learn abatement methods for these hazards; and learn
workplace inspection procedures.
This course is an intensive, two-day abbreviated version
of the OSHA 6000: Collateral Duty Course for Other
Federal Agencies. The class is designed for private
industry supervisory personnel and others who have
occupational safety and health as an additional duty
to his/her normal responsibilities.
Students will receive a "Certificate of Completion",
and handouts and materials normally provided to students
of the full-length OSHA 6000 course.
