You will need to prepare four one-page documents:

1. Compare (what are the differences, what are the similarities) a salt marsh with a minerotrophic (not a bog) freshwater marsh.

2. Compare a bog with a minerotrophic freshwater marsh.

3. Compare a restored freshwater marsh with a natural freshwater marsh.

4. Compare a freshwater marsh with the adjacent upland ecosystem.

You will want to make sure you consider whether or not these things are important for your comparison:

Hydrology

Chemistry

Vegetation

Biodiversity

Soils

Seasonality

Plant adaptations and strategies

Productivity
