GO-MAP (http://www.grad.washington.edu/gomap/default.htm) is a division of the University of Washington's Graduate School. GO-MAP's mission is to promote greater access to advanced studies for students of color and traditionally underrepresented groups. Aside from supporting UW graduate students both personally and professionally, GO-MAP offers scholarships for UW graduate and professional students, holds events throughout the year, sponsors lecture series and symposia, and supports student participation in national conferences. GO-MAP also co-sponsors many EIP events, including the Annual Spring Research Conference held every May.

Most graduate and professional programs require students to take a standardized test, much like the SAT for college, as part of their applications: GRE for graduate school, MCAT for medical school, LSAT for law school, and GMAT for business school.
