November 28, 2001
The UW EMBA held its first Executive Recruiting Reception
at the Rainier Club in downtown Seattle on November 28, 2001.
Alumni, current EMBA students and faculty were invited to
bring interested guests to the information reception to learn
more about the program. Ken Hey, 2001 Ernst and
Young Northwest Entrepreneur of the Year and Regional
EMBA class of 2000 alumni, presented his success story on
how the EMBA program helped him lead his company to be the
12th fastest growing company in Washington during 2000.
In addition to current Regional EMBA and North America EMBA
students, we were joined by alumni from previous EMBA classes.
Many saw this event as a chance to introduce colleagues to
their program and a way to meet up with old classmates as
well.
Stay tuned for the next recruiting event. Also, we
want to begin highlighting our alumni here on Alumni Links.
If you have any news about yourself or other alumni please
forward the information to Belina Makonnen at belinam@u.washington.edu.
