Recruiting
The Executive MBA and Marketing Staffs spent significant energy and time during the late spring and throughout the summer on various marketing initiatives: Revised the program catalog and website, and the recruiting kit. As part of our summer marketing campaign Jim Jiambalvo, Dean of the UW Business School sent a letter and a copy of our “Guide to an Executive MBA” (PDF) to approximately 400 EMBA Program Deans and Directors.
The Program also sponsored the KPLU Summer Cruise and created a new program tagline “Aim Higher. Achieve More.” and a 20 year anniversary logo. In addition, in collaboration with the MBA Program we attended two MBA Tours in September in San Francisco and Seattle and participated in an Executive and Graduate Education Open House.
In September we sent our revised alumni recruiting kits to our Executive MBA alums. The packets contain pertinent information about upcoming alumni events and also referral cards that the alumni can forward to qualified friends and colleagues. Please let us know if you have not received a copy.
Here are the schedules for our upcoming Information sessions and Road Shows: http://www.emba.washington.edu/info_sessions.shtml

Ethical Decision Making Survey
Scott Reynolds, our Ethical Leadership Faculty, is involved in a university research project on ethical decision making in business and has asked us to make his survey available to EMBA Alumni.
Recruitment Statement
The survey presents a moral dilemma and asks a series of questions to explore personal preferences in ethical decision-making.
For example, one question asks to what extent the character trait "trustworthy" is important to you, and another asks how often you have surfed the internet on company time. The findings will help us to better understand how people make difficult ethical decisions. Your participation is voluntary.
This survey takes about 20-30 minutes to complete. Your responses will be completely anonymous. You have the right to skip any question and the right to stop at any time.
The survey will be available until 5 pm, November 30. If you have any questions, please contact me:
