EMERGING INFECTIONS OF INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH IMPORTANCE

This site has been developed to provide access to current topics in the area of Emerging Infections for students and practitioners world-wide. The content has been derived from a series of transcribed lectures given at the University of Washington, School of Public Health during the Winter Quarter of 1998. Although the lectures have been edited somewhat to better conform to a distance learning web site, they still maintain a more casual "spoken English" style of presentation. Many images have been supplied in both a faster-to-load small version and in a larger version that may be downloaded to enhance instruction at other sites.
