Inspiring Individuals towards Independence

Are you having difficulty inspiring an AAC user to reach for independence? Introduce him or her to the many types of independence through the stories and video clips on this site. For example:

a) Living independently:

The majority of the individuals introduced on this site live independently, hiring (and firing) the people who assist them. A number of these individuals are married and have children. Here are a few individuals who live independently.

b) Working:

Many individuals work on a regular basis. Here are a few such individuals:
