pre-autumn 2005 ba requirements

Some Courses Meeting the Field Requirement for the Pre-Autumn 2005 B.A. in English

The Field Requirement was part of the pre-Autumn 2006 English major, which is available only to those students who declared the English major prior to AUT 2005. The Field requirement focused on literature underrepresented in the Anglo-American canon or literature taught in a department other than English.  The 3-5 credit courses listed below all met the English Field Requirement, and most met Areas of Knowledge-VLPA as well.  None required prerequsites at the time when this list was compiled..  These courses are taught in English translation, although other literature courses taught either in the original language or not listed here may be acceptable.  Please check with an English adviser in A2B Padelford.

Every effort has been made to provide specific information about the courses below to assist students in course scheduling, but departments make changes in course availability based on many things, and unfortunately, we cannot guarantee accuracy in all cases. Please note that this list has not been updated since the new English BA requirements took effect in AUT 2005.
