Noah S. Seixas, PhD, MS
Professor, Env. and Occ. Health Sciences
Dr. Seixas is a certified industrial hygienist with an emphasis on the quantification of exposure for occupational epidemiology. In addition to teaching industrial hygiene courses and maintaining an active research program, he is the Rohm & Haas Professor of Environmental Health. Dr. Seixas is the Director of the NIOSH-sponsored Northwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety. Dr. Seixas is an Assistant Editor of the Annals of Occupational Hygiene and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene, and the American Journal of Industrial Medicine.

Exposure assessments in the context of retrospective, cross-sectional and prospective epidemiology studies and health and safety needs of workers in precarious jobs.
Addressing the health and safety needs of day laborers and other contingent workers.
Investigations in the mining, construction, waste handling, and primary and secondary metal industries.
Evaluating the effectiveness of organizational interventions to improve safety and health performance.
Developing effective health and safety programs for contingent and immigrant workers.
