JOBS - Graduate Student Career Development Workshop

career day event

Providing an opportunity to build relationships between the business community, the university, and students.

Each year in the spring the Graduate Program Office and the faculty of the Department of Environmental & Occupational Health sponsor a Career Development Workshop. Graduate students, faculty, and public health leaders from across the Pacific Northwest meet to discuss the varied employment opportunities available for environmental health graduates. Attendees generally include representatives from industry, consulting, governmental agencies and advocacy groups.

  • Do you want to know how to get a job after you graduate?
  • Would you like to find out which career skills are critical to success?

"Career Day" has been reorganized into the Career Development Workshop, a two hour event with local environmental and occupational health professionals.

The event will be comprised of an introductory overview, discussion panel and social hour. Topics discussed will include networking, professional associations, job finding tools, skill sets, workplace communication, career pathways and different sector opportunities.
