Research
Prior to becoming a graduate student at the University of Washington, I worked in construction on the Trans Alaska Pipeline. Working in the oil industry sparked my interest in industrial hygiene and large scale construction project safety.
My research interests include exposure to airborne chemicals, health effects of environmental agents, and policy issues associated with industrial processes. My current research project focuses on ergonomics looking at whole body vibration in driving and equipment operation jobs.
