Research

Prior to entering the University of Washington's DEOHS Exposure Sciences program Eric's previous research area included both field based and lab based environmental microbiology work. Eric's environmental microbiology research has focused on West Nile Virus, microbial water contaminants in the Puget Sound, and water disinfection. Eric's personal, academic and professional experiences have contributed to his desire to greater understand environmental contaminants and the risks posed to human health. Eric is dedicated to the goal of including an environmental justice perspective to environmental health issues.

Extracurricular Interests

Camping, Hiking, Fishing, Basketball, Golfing, the occasional video game, and I'm Oakland A's fan.
