Research

I am particularly interested in research that focuses on the evaluation of environmental and occupational health risks and prevention of occupational injuries. I hope to do research in southern Thailand in the Para rubber tree industry and on related topics. Areas of particular interest include work conditions and occupational injuries in the Para wood sawmills such as the assessment of bioaerosols and wood dust exposure in Para rubber sawmills and volatile organic compound emissions from Para wood based materials. In addition, I want to study pesticide exposure among Para rubber planters and palm oil planters in the south of Thailand. My previous study was on occupational accidents and injuries in Thailand. Currently, I am working on validation of an enzyme-linked immmunoabsorbent assay and biological monitoring of occupational exposure to pyrethroid deltamethrin.
