The Department of Epidemiology offers graduate-level courses on special topics, under the general course number EPI 590 Selected Topics in Epidemiology or International Health (1-6, max. 6). In any given quarter, some of the topics listed below may be offered. Students should note that the section letter may change each quarter. Epidemiology of Chronic Infectious Diseases

Introduces students to laboratory methods used to investigate hypotheses about disease etiology, prognosis, natural history, and early detection in population and clinical studies. There are no prerequisites other than permission of the instructor. Offered Autumn Quarter.
