Directions to IARTP

Driving From North or Southbound I-5
- Take exit 165A for James Street to the east
- Follow signs for James St
- Turn up the hill at James St
- Turn right on 9th Ave
- Turn left at E Jefferson St
- IARTP is located between Terry and Boren on Jefferson on the North side of the street.
Driving From Department of Epidemiology
- Head east on NE Pacific St
- Turn right at Montlake Blvd NE or from Montlake Parking return to the Parking Gate and turn left at Montlake Blvd E.
- Merge onto WA-520 W via the ramp to I-5/Seattle Fwy
- Take the exit onto I-5 S
- Take exit 165A toward James St
- Merge onto 6th Ave
- Turn left at James St up the hill.
- Turn right on 9th Ave
- Turn left at E Jefferson St.
- IARTP is located between Terry and Boren on Jefferson on the North side of the street.
Shuttle Directions
- Go to the D-wing stop on Columbia Road behind and to the east of the Epi Department.
- Take the Health Sciences Express to Harborview Medical Center
- Walk 1/2 block north to Jefferson Street
- Turn right (east) and walk another 1-1/2 blocks.
Entrance and Parking
IARTP is located on the north side of Jefferson, in a 3-story brown shingled house, near the corner of Jefferson and Boren. (The building will be on your left.) The first floor is occupied by Sayre Law Office, and the 2nd and 3rd floors are occupied by IARTP. Ring the bell by the door marked “University of Washington”. Someone will ask you through the speaker to identify yourself, and then will buzz you in.
There is a small parking lot with designated parking spots directly behind the Jefferson Building. If you plan to drive, let IARTP know in advance so they can give you instructions on what spots are available to visitors.
