Research Interests
Cancer prevention and control. Dr. Bobo's research has focused on diverse aspects of public health practice related to cancer prevention and control. She has directed studies on barriers to mammography rescreening among low-income women enrolled in free breast cancer screening program, effectiveness of clinical breast examination funded by the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection program, and implementation of smoking cessation programs for recovering alcoholics.
