Infectious diseases Field epidemiology, acute infectious diseases, workforce development, and distance learning. He works at the UW Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, the Center for Public Health Informatics in Seattle, and the National Institute for Infectious Diseases in Tokyo, Japan.
