Research Interests
Dr. Scholes is an epidemiologist whose research interests focus principally on the health issues of young women, including STD/HIV prevention and contraceptive options. She is currently the principal investigator for an NIH-funded prospective study of the effects of Depo-provera and other risk factors on bone density in adolescent and young adult women.
