Research Interests
Dr. Stanford's research interests are in chronic disease epidemiology, specifically breast and gynecologic cancers, prostate cancer, and cardiovascular disease. She has worked on clinical trials of cardiovascular disease and case-control studies of breast cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, and prostate cancer. Currently, Dr. Stanford is working on analyses of data from a multi-national case-control study of steroid contraceptive use and cancer risk, and analyses of breast cancer and hormone replacement therapy from a case-control study conducted in King County in Washington State.

Dr. Stanford teaches EPI 591 - Current Literature in Epidemiology during Winter Quarter.
