Dr. Newton is a chronic disease epidemiologist, whose research program is focused on mid-life women's health, including menopause, hormone replacement therapy, alternative approaches to managing vasomotor symptoms, cardiovascular disease in women, and diabetes. She is particularly interested in interventions for diabetes prevention.
