The NCI-designated Massey Cancer Center at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia invites applications for a POSTDOCTORAL TRAINING PROGRAM in CANCER PREVENTION & CONTROL RESEARCH This 2 year flexible program is NIH funded, offering salaries and research seed money while preparing Fellows for an academic career.
Areas of research interest as they relate to cancer include (but are not limited to):
Deadline for Applications: Applications received by January 15, 2013 will receive priority consideration but applications will be accepted after that.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Candidate should have a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree by the start of the fellowship and a commitment to a career as a cancer prevention and control researcher. In addition, candidate should have demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
