The Hepatitis Education Project (HEP) is seeking a Program Coordinator to help manage the agency's day-to-day operations and specific projects. These projects will include patient navigation, outreach, and research. The ideal candidate will have an interest in working in a wide variety of community settings, possess a skill for detail-oriented tasks, and computer experience with MS Office suite. A background in public health, social work, and research is preferred. Foreign language proficiency is a plus, especially Spanish. Knowledge of hepatitis is useful, but not required. Persons living with hepatitis C or hepatitis B are encouraged to apply. Some duties of the program coordinator are as follows:

• • Establish protocols and manage our hepatitis C medical patient navigation program.
• • Coordinate research projects and prepare related reports.
• • Oversee and carry out the agency's hepatitis C outreach and testing program.
• • Provide information and referral support to patients and families affected by hepatitis.
• • Prepare grant and/or contract proposals.
• • Collaborate with the database coordinator to develop the electronic patient database.
• • Create HEP's monthly newsletter, for circulation to stakeholders and patients.
• • Support the HEP staff with any other related projects.

The workweek is 35-45 hours per week, M-F with occasional weekend and evening events. Some travel required. Health benefits and vacation/sick plan.
