UPDATE CONTACT INFORMATION
- Update your contact information with UW as soon as you have your Seattle address.
- Visit www.MyUW.washington.edu to update your address and UW email in
the registration system.
- If you won't arrive until shortly before the quarter, use the Epidemiology address below. Do not send large packages to this
address as there is no room in your mailslot.
Your Name
Epidemiology, 357236
University of Washington
Seattle, WA 98195
- The Registration Office will mail your enrollment and UPass stickers to the mailing address listed with the UW about 2 weeks
prior to each quarter.
- If an incorrect address is on file, your stickers could be lost and it is hard to get them replaced and because if you do
not want to use it, you must return the sticker to have the charge removed.
- See UPass (coming soon) to learn more about the UPass program.

- Procedure: take copy of your registration, student # and photo ID to the Husky Card Account & ID Center on the ground floor of

UPASS
- A student will be charged $99/quarter (2009) for a UPass with his/her tuition bill.
- It allows free travel all over Metro (King County) and Sound Transit (multi-county) bus and train systems and on Community Transit
(Snohomish County north of Seattle).
- It is much cheaper than monthly bus passes or a UW parking permit. We recommend busing or biking to campus.
- If you do not wish to pay for a UPass, you must return the sticker by the quarterly tuition deadline to the Registration
Office on the 2nd Floor of Schmitz Hall. The deadlines are in the
Academic Calendar.
- Postdoc Fellows & UW Employees:
- If you use payroll deductions to pay for a faculty/staff UPass and do not return your student UPass, you will be charged for
both.
- Faculty/staff Exempt Students: If you only register for up to 6 course credits in a quarter (<600 level), you will
not receive a student UPass or access to UW student discounts.
