National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center (NACC)

Director: Walter Kukull, PhD

The NACC is the data coordinating center for the 32 NIA-funded Alzheimer's Disease Centers (ADCs) in the U.S., and its database holds information on over 50,000 research subjects. NACC also peer reviews and funds collaborative pilot studies among ADCS, and approximately $900K is made available each year to fund 3 or 4 of these collaborative studies.
