Recycling at the University of Washington
Recycling in the Department of Epidemiology
- There are several recycling stations in the Department: Bins can be found outside of the Epi Program Office, a box for mixed paper recycling is located to the right of the copy machine in F-261 hallway and in the student computer lab. These are emptied on a regular basis!
- Paper with confidential information should be shredded. The paper shredder is located to the left of the refrigerator in F-261 hallway.

We encourage people to print on the back of non confidential documents when possible. For those that don't like to re-use paper but want to participate in this project, bring your recycle paper to the Epi Program Office. We would be happy to take your used paper.

Recycle bins for bottles and cans can be found outside of the Epi Program Office.

There is a large envelope outside of the Epi Program Office for electronic media recycling. This includes CDs, DVDs, floppy disks, cassettes, VHS tapes and batteries.

Deposit your recycle transparencies in the marked box over the F-261 copy machine.

Toner cartridges can be given to Courtney in the Epi Program Office for recycling.
